Hardly surprising.
We hardly come out of this smelling of roses.
Well done Ross. Slow hand clap.

Unfortunate that nobody else heard Cooper utter the vile remarks that he allegedly used on Ross.
Cooper appears to have form with fans of a few clubs criticising him, but nothing concrete here.
I believe Ross’s version but the FA can’t do much as it’s his word against Cooper’s.
The whole sorry episode just leaves a nasty taste.

It does and again shows up the FA for the gutless cowards they are.

Knew that's how it would turn out. The FA and EFL would never back Orient so only answer is to get even by fair means or foul at their place.
I don't believe Embleton would make something like this up, sadly some people truly are appalling human beings and FGR manager is one of them.

In a case of no witnesses and one persons word against another, difficult to see how this could be pursued any further.

Taking this as a guilty verdict as the FA are always wrong.

I thought in the after match interview that dulcet Dave said he heard what was said by Cooper.

Not knowing the FGR manager, is it possible RE misheard what he said? Were they close when it happened or was it shouted out over the noise of the crowd?

Noise of the crowd. In the West stand? Do you go to BR?

I would have thought that Dulcet Dave would have been up in the TV Gantry area so I can’t imagine he would have heard anything much from up there, unless he was closer ??
It’s frustrating that nobody else heard anything.

Pretty certain that Ross wouldn’t make it up.
Oh well, if the FA won’t deal with it we’ll have to take it into our own hands. Let’s smash up the away end at FGR, chuck bacon on the pitch and chant “Cooper is a t*sser” all game during the return fixture.

Nah, win the game, that'll do just fine.

I'd like to agree with you, however Cooper was clever as whatever was said it was not overheard, Silly Ross just not clever enough for this job, not now, not ever. He will never learn

No surprise as the exact words weren't mentioned in the referees report, so we can only assume that whilst the fact the referee booked Cooper and sent off Ross the 4th official saw words being said, he wasn't concentrating enough to recall what it was.
As Martin Ling says on the Podcast, Cooper has to sleep at night knowing what he said and the fact that he hasn't come out and apologised speaks volumes about the man. What is worse though is Forest Green have condoned his actions and made it look that Ross, for no reason whatsoever decided to throw his gum at Cooper.

I see everyone is "saving" the date and aiming to sell out the away end. Fair play. If they throw meat on the pitch then that's just embarrassing.

Yes, agreed, to throw meat on the pitch would bring us down to Mark Cooper’s level, and we don’t want that.

Throwing anything towards the playing surface is a criminal offence for which participants risk arrest, a criminal record and a banning order.
All for what?

Cooper could have been booked for his reaction to what ross did. We don't know what Cooper was booked for.
You are jumping to conclusions about the reason for Cooper's booking. Indeed if the 4th official didn't hear what Cooper said, he couldn't have been booked for the words he used

One person said to throw bacon sarnies, I’m going to eat mine as I will not waste a good blt on them!
I’m not into the non meat stuff that they no doubt serve.

Any Orient fan who turns up at FGR and throws meat at them or onto the pitch is a moron and will embarrass the club.

I was going to respond with an explanation, but such as people like yourself on here, I really can't be bothered with your argumentative twaddle.
