No point in swearing at an Omadhaun .
The club knows the calendar and needs to act when itβs open not wait until it closes then say too late now.Prestige Worldwide wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 9:12 am Loan window is shut. Is that Ling's fault too?

Club knew the calendar when starting the season without the squad depth to cope in this league, plus the injuries that were already apparent from pre-season.tuffers#1 wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 5:45 pmSo Ling is not belssed with seeing into to future ?dOh Nut wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 5:40 pmThe club knows the calendar and needs to act when itβs open not wait until it closes then say too late now.Prestige Worldwide wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 9:12 am Loan window is shut. Blimey Expectations of a Human Being are being
over estimated massively.
Seeing into the future is an amusing comment. Plenty on this forum have predicted correctly the issues on the playing side and more recently the appointment of Fletcher without the aid of a crystal ball.gshaw wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 6:02 pmClub knew the calendar when starting the season without the squad depth to cope in this league, plus the injuries that were already apparent from pre-season.
3 strikers out, 2 in (+1 who should've stayed on transfer list)
2 CMs out, 1 pro in plus youth loan who doesn't play
1 GK out, 0 in
Simple fact in pure numbers we didn't strengthen the squad, especially when you consider we sold strikers worth 35+ goals who were a critical component of our success.
So why did Justin Edinburgh saydOh Nut wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 6:15 pmSeeing into the future is an amusing comment. It it hardly surprising that some fans get uptight when the bleeding obvious comes to fruition.
JE was a different quality of manager and I have absolutely no doubt had he been with us today we would be, with the same squad, pushing for the playoffs.tuffers#1 wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 7:38 pmSo why did Justin Edinburgh saydOh Nut wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 6:15 pmSeeing into the future is an amusing comment. Im going with the players who got us up in an
With maybe 1 or 2 in & 1 or 2 out
Interview not long before he died ?
So future gazing & going with what JE
wanted after he passed away.
What would you do ?
So Ross will turn it arounddOh Nut wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 7:49 pmJE was a different quality of manager and I have absolutely no doubt had he been with us today we would be, with the same squad, pushing for the playoffs.tuffers#1 wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 7:38 pmSo why did Justin Edinburgh saydOh Nut wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 6:15 pm

But tragically that is not the case, therefore itβs up to the new regime to consider their abilities and limitations when looking forward and make their own judgements on squad requirements, which given such limitations, likely means improvements in players just to stand still. A situation we are all seeing.
I think the bottom line Is tragically Justin is not with us. He will never be forgotten. But in my opinion the time has come whereby we need to move forward without constantly referring back to what he may or may not have done. That is incredibly unfair on Ross for example. Big boots to fill.tuffers#1 wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 7:55 pmSo Ross will turn it arounddOh Nut wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 7:49 pmJE was a different quality of manager and I have absolutely no doubt had he been with us today we would be, with the same squad, pushing for the playoffs.

He started to be before he decided to stand aside because of the abuse thrown his way.
Probably felt like , if this lot are going to slaughter me all over social media i wont bother.
Then Numpty Fletcher goes against what he said in Job Interviews & destroys players
Confidence, that needs rebuilding.
How can we need loans from No Justin
To no loans with Justin point of view.
Allow people the time to build .
End of Story .
Question... given these two scenarios (we're doing hypothetical here so no "it'll never happen" clauses) would you rather...
Im not doing predict the future with options like that.gshaw wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 8:10 pmQuestion... given these two scenarios (we're doing hypothetical here so no "it'll never happen" clauses) would you rather...
1) stay up in mid-table with a new manager, including demoting / paying off Embleton and Webb as part of the process
2) get relegated with Embleton at the helm but doing what the club see as the "right" thing by the "culture" and have to rebuild again from NL level
I do think there's a chunk of the supporters who would actually be happier with 2 than 1. Seems keeping people happy is now more important than results on pitch and our League status.
Still trying to figure out what you're trying to get at with your previous post on that front. Is your keyboard broken?
Nope .
I do really hope your right.tuffers#1 wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 8:14 pmIm not doing predict the future with options like that.gshaw wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 8:10 pmQuestion... given these two scenarios (we're doing hypothetical here so no "it'll never happen" clauses) would you rather...

Only a pure pessimist would say 2 options.
Im going for option 3 .
Ross & co turns it around starting next weekend .
We start winning for fun & are in the play off places by march.
We can come back to this thread then.
Why do we bother turning up at all ?Thor wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 9:09 pmI do really hope your right.tuffers#1 wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 8:14 pmIm not doing predict the future with options like that.gshaw wrote: βMon Nov 25, 2019 8:10 pm

Being an O you have to be an optimist, I hope he turns it around, the second half has given me some hope, itβs that hope that the last 30 mins of the first half are not repeated.
