Read his book on pushback. Totally agree on this and his observations about culture. What interested me was many of his concepts for example empowering, staff, consultation and implementation of staff ideas have been going on on UK businesses (some, can’t speak for all) for some time. In my opinion European culture is far ahead of the USA having worked in both.

Just my opinion

Will have to check out his book. I've never worked in the US, but work for a US company and they're big on all those things. We attempt something called servant leadership, where it is the job of the leaders to clear the path to allow the staff to perform to their best.
