Both getting bigged up on the orient twitter account. Ling man of the match and if the players has alabis spirit we would be top of the league.
Well done lads.

f*cking hell.
I don’t know any of these guys but they’re just fans aren’t they, it’s not anyone official is it, so can’t pin this on the club.

In the case of Alabi I don't think there has been someone at the club so liked despite delivering so little. There definitely is a career in coaching for him after he stops playing, his team could be bottom of the League and everyone would still be saying what a nice guy he is.
It was quite amusing that on his birthday they put up a 10 minute repeat of his goal against Grimsby, the harsh reality being that Eliot probably tried to make a 10 minute video of his highlights here and quickly found out he would not be able to fill it past a couple of minutes.
As for Ling, apparently it's in the contract that if he hits 3 7/10 performances in a row next season he gets a automatic extension and a commerative poster in the club shop.

We can all criticise Alabi for not being good enough for this league but at least he does give it a go . He had more shots on goal yesterday than the rest of the team put together. I've also been one of Alabi's critics but you can't criticise his effort or commitment. Ling looks the same as Judd to me but I think we need a better RB.

You know what RD on the basis of what JA did yesterday, I’d start him in the next game, otherwise what’s the point of coming on trying your best making a difference and never getting a sniff?

In reply to your opening sentence it think it's because we appreciate he gives everything he's got . His problem is what's required is more than he got to give but he's proven he can score.

Lee Angol was bizarrely put on the wing. He's also just coming back from injury so not up to speed yet . If we're going to play Angol, surely it's got to be CF

Personally the best way to utilise JA is a more direct playing style where he’s running forwards on to balls, not having to turn etc so he can use his pace and power more effectively. The fact we don’t play that way is a shame for him. He did it at Chester in that style and his recent goal was exactly as I’ve described.

Absolutely and I was surprised that he didn’t form part of a two when he came on.

Ling played well to be fair, never made any mistakes and his tackle was quality in the second half. But he was not MOM.

Typical Orient not playing players to their strengths .

Alabi for his effort and shots on goal. Just proves how bad it was .

Dennis another player we keep expecting to play out of position - and who will/has suffer a crisis of confidence because of this managerial muppetry

At least James doesn’t shirk, I guess.
That header says it all though.

The Alabi love-fest is beginning to wind me up. It was funny at first when ppl were signing "if he scores we're on the pitch" but every time he gets on the pitch he should be greeted with sighs not cheers.
I genuinely don't think I've seen a worst player at this club, certaonly not one who has lasted so long.

Why not get behind the player instead of slagging him off !!

I've seen plenty worse than him at Orient although I expect him to be on his way in the Summer.
