Yes, anything but the relegation spot. My prediction from the start was 19th but it doesn't even look like it'll be that comfortable now :?

Should do much better than that - 17th.

What, by losing all the time ? Yes, I would take 23rd spot right now. The only important thing this season is we’re not relegated.

If we get our forwards back fit and firing, we will pick up points for sure.

It's all a bit strange, struggling with Ross in charge, he decides to give up then wins 3 and draws 1 including a 4-0 away win with Fletcher looking on. We crash under Fletchers guidance and the lose again with Ross back in charge. The fans opinion is that a lot of the players are substandard so how did Ross achieve that small revival

The honest answer is yes, anything is better than being relegated.
To end up in 23rd place will see crowds and revenue drop drastically, not a good business model.
However I would hope that the owners have learnt from their disastrous mistakes and will now immediately advertise for what they should have in the first place, a proven, experienced Manager at this level and not continue playing a reckless game of Russian Roulette by using an inexperienced, unproven Manager as soon as possible.

Fletch was cast as the villain but we never got his side of the story and in his interviews he never seemed able to say what he wanted to say.

It always seemed a squad clearout was needed but hey ho.

A bit of good fortune.

The Walsall game particularly should've been done and dusted by HT, we were that bad. You won't see another right footed Widdowson 25 yarder again, came at the perfect time to turn that game.

With our CM as poor as it is strikers alone won't make enough difference to turn this around. You can't surrender middle of the pitch every game and not expect to concede multiple goals.

Either we play 4-3-3 / 4-5-1 to shore up the CM by putting 3 in there to do the work of 2, but lose out upfront or we go 4-4-2 after transfer window with a significant improvement in the CM pairing.

Trouble is Harrold is tiring in the target man role so going to have to change the style again. It was working playing up to him but not for 90 mins week in week out.

I would love 23 place but have taken 35/1 we finish bottom as insurance. After yesterday’s defeat now 25/1.

Yes, anywhere above 24th. Yet still only 8 points away from 7th. This is a league where a half decent run could out a team into play off spots. That written, way Orient have played since 4-0 at Grimsby against moderate opposition does not suggest they can.

NO. Of course I don’t want us relegated but come on, 23rd is setting the bar bloody low. We have to be aiming for mid-table at least. Who wants a team whose mantra is, it’s OK to be sh*t so long as someone else is worse.

Orient should be aiming for 7th this season, but as long as they are not 24th I would be pleased enough.

He never seemed to be able to say anything else either tbf, inspiring and insightful orator he was not. Yep, I'd take 23rd now after the last few weeks of cackfest. Gonna be a long season this one unless something dramatic happens in the January transfer window.
