He would be more entertaining than some of the Football![]()
I dare say he formed that opinion after the appointment, not before.redintheface wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 5:51 pmSaid ironically mate given Porter’s apparent aversion to hiring anyone who has “ multiple previous clubs on his CV”Cheshunto wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 5:44 pmLink ??redintheface wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 5:41 pm Matt Porter is suggesting Neil Warnock.......allegedly!![]()

Tisdale only agreed to join MK Dons because he was allowed to bring his own coaching team from Exeter, I wouldn't mind him but I can't see it.

Exactly . I reckon Danny has the makings of being a good manager . I thought he did really well when he managed us for a short spell while also dealing with Beelzebub and his circus .Top of the West. wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 11:02 pmTisdale only agreed to join MK Dons because he was allowed to bring his own coaching team from Exeter, I wouldn't mind him but I can't see it.
Danny Webb for me, was good under the Italian given the circumstances and the players loved him. Not afraid to throw youth in if they are good enough (not that he had much choice last time) I'm pretty sure that Danny would want it in contrast with Ross who is doing it out of a sense of loyalty above all else.
OK, that's fair enough . Well than let's try and bring Russell back here once things have settled back down again .Thor wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 12:37 am I’m sure Danny has said he is not ready yet, why try and push someone into jumping into the fire too soon, his time will come for sure, probably not today though. Ross is not management material I’m afraid, a no.2 yes, a good coach so I’m told, again let’s try to kill people with roles that by their own admission is not for them
Let’s steady the ship once more, get the players back in the comfort zone, enjoying training, enjoying playing and being at Leyton Orient and take the time to find the right person for our club.

It’s incredibly unfair to put people in roles they don’t want or are not ready for. I have some sympathy for Fletch. He applied in the hope of a new career as no 1 when perhaps he should have been looking at an assistant role somewhere or lower league role. we put him in job most of us felt he was not up to. Now his career is screwed. Lots of bad judgement. No winners.Thor wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 12:37 am I’m sure Danny has said he is not ready yet, why try and push someone into jumping into the fire too soon, his time will come for sure, probably not today though. If RS were to come back then I don't know why we'd need Ling. Turkeys don't vote for christmas!dOh Nut wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 5:49 amIt’s incredibly unfair to put people in roles they don’t want or are not ready for. I have some sympathy for Fletch. Ross back in a job he don’t want, though with a safety net. If Webb don't feel he is ready, don’t push him into it. The right thing to do is bring is experience. Russ ticks lots of boxes. Give him this and next season and and extension possibility depending on results.
