How much has Fletcher cost us?
Presumably we'd have had to pay up his contract which was what, 18 months? How much is that likely to have set us back?
Where does that money come from? Out of this seasons playing budget?

Re: How much has Fletcher cost us?
Porter said this on the Orient Hour,
Fletchers contract has a termination clause in it. The length of the clause is confidential.
So we won't be paying him 18months worth of salary is what I take from that.
Re: How much has Fletcher cost us?
The figure will be in between.....club has some leverage in that they could place Felch on gardening leave and prevent his inevitable return to Bournemouth.
I wonder if they would be good enough to repay the fee we paid to get him, after all Eddie Howe said he was good.

Re: How much has Fletcher cost us?
Porter said there was a termination clause in his contract. So it won't be the full 18 months we're on the hook for. Who knows what it would be though. If they were really savvy maybe they out something in with limited compensation if he didn't last a month; but that's just looking at the timing of him being given the boot.
There is also the fee we allegedly paid to Bournemouth as compensation.
Really hope he hadn't uprooted his family to London though.

Re: How much has Fletcher cost us?
He probably had 6 months pay if terminated, if the remaining contract was greater than.

Bullshit. He always said he was a stand in. He wasn’t good enough to be permanent.

And prior to that hanging around in 20th. Overall far more poor performances than good ones. Even Walsall where we won was a game we should've been out of by HT. He's not the answer any more than CF is / was.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 8:26 pmRoss last game in full control away to Grimsby

However much it cost the club to get rid of Fletcher, I think most of us will agree, it was worth it.
