The EFL have opened an investigation in to Macclesfield after the players went on strike over not being paid. The team fielded 6 youth players and 5 loanees in their 4-0 loss to kingstonian. The usual waffle comes out from the club about payment and they have assured the league their next game will proceed without issue.
