Coulson needs dropping

Looks so bad in the highlights this season, overweight, out of shape, slow and cumbersome. Get him out of the team and get him fit before bringing him back in.

Sadly yes. Along with Clay two heroes of last year just not making the grade this time around. May be down to fitness, may be grief or may just be a level too far but they need taking out the starting XI for a while.

There are several players in the team that appear to be under achieving at the moment.
CF game plan and tactics seem to me to be confusing the players .His interviews confuse us so what is it doing to the players. At this moment in time I would not trust him to spend any of our money

My wife loves him as a player, but even she said after Sunday he needs to be dropped.

I personally still believe he’s playing through an injury possibly groin.

Wrong.

He’s not the problem.

He’s been carrying an injury, absolutely outrageous that he has to play every week. Clay is paying the price for having to do 3 other players jobs as well as his own for the last year and a half.

Also, we need to stop blaming players poor form on Fletcher. It was like it under the interim period too.

Things that turn quicker than Coulson

Lorries
Tides
Milk
Orient fans on managers

Ridiculous to scapegoat one individual after a team performance like that and really demonstrates how little some individuals understand football.

Coulson is a key player. Get off his back. Our problems are not him.

But he got done for both goals.

You're looking at things too simplistically.

We have no midfield protection. Teams break at our back line again and again, this will happen. If Marvin, or Turley, or Widdowson or whoever had been playing at centre half, the outcome would have been the same.

We need some proper midfielders that can offer something defensively.

Correct. I still think hes carrying an injury though.

We have other CM's but Clay and Wright get picked ahead of them.

None of them can do that covering/protection role adequately (As say, someone like Ebou Adams would do).

I'm not claiming Coulson is having a great season, he's clearly not, but there are much bigger problems to sort first - those directly ahead of him and the lump directly behind him.

Not sure the armband is doing him any favours either.

I'm basing it on the whole season not just one game. He is clearly not fit and as such is a bit of a liability. A fit Coulson would be my first name on the team sheet. Would much rather him take out 4 weeks get fit and play well than continue like this for the rest of the season.

Only to begin with .Ross had seemed to have sorted that out and everybody was putting in a shift. Now we're back where we started.

Can’t blame anyone other than Fletcher - absolutely certain that the team would bounce if he was shown the door.

Happy to predict we will not win a game this side of Xmas with him at the helm.

Are the players fit? If not that can not be blamed on CF as that will be as a result of a poor preseason

If you are basing your conclusion over the whole season as you say then whilst I understand your reasoning, I don’t agree with it. Imho Coulson has been more reliable than both Ekpiteta and Happe. I wasn’t at Sunday’s match ( fortunately) so you’ll have a better idea than me if JC was carrying an injury. If he is struggling for fitness then I do agree it might be better to let him sit it out for a couple of games to recover, especially now that Turley is back and offers another CB option.

Seemed fit enough against Northampton, Walsall and Grimsby.

Sorted them out? They started to get results after Ross said he couldn’t handle it

Adz hasn’t seen a game in 13 years.
