The other board is reporting that the club is fully prepared for relegation. WTF? I get that as a business you cover off all eventualities, but seriously we should not ever have to contemplate that, not under these owners.
Are they being deluded or realists?
Donut would be happy as he'd save himself £1,500 cos he would not go again.
Have we been that crushed to contemplate that? I think it's time we rolled our sleeves up, get behind the team and hope that fetch sorts he stuff out.

It's time we rolled up our sleeves and got on with relegation. It may be an unpopular opinion but that's what I think.

Look at the positives - we'd get another opportunity to win the league/promotion.

Happy happy! I’d be furious. I’ll just never watch NL football again. If saving money was my aim I could do that now.

Contemplate this - is the current squad ready and capable of steering us away from possible relegation? Now the counter argument is that we will strengthen in January, but what if we don't or sign another Alabi type player, we could even sign someone that's been prolific at other clubs, but just doesn't do it for us (Cureton esque). The fact is even before the little purple patch we were looking like a lower league table team, with injuries and Fletcher trying things against what the players are used to, we now look like relegation fodder.

With an uninspiring crap manager at the helm and the way he's now got us playing , relegation is a real possibility so it's sensible to cover that eventuality .

One team goes down this year which gives us time to steady the ship.

Steadying the ship is one thing, but plugging the holes to stop us sinking?

We will win our next two home games and chat will turn to the playoffs. Trust me, my forecasts are spot on.

Yup same here, ST would go in the bin and not be renewed. Will not watch that NL crap again.

Well, if Macclesfield can’t sort themselves out and go bust there is a possibility that no one is going to get relegated.

I doubt the top brass would allow relegation to happen. It’s the only crumb of comfort right now that we have owners geared for success, which means not getting relegated but building for the future.
But you never know. Maybe Fletcher is a top manager in the making and right now all we see is the cracked eggs when the outcome will really be a nice omelette.
Can’t believe I just said that
