Economic Growth

Nice to see that we did not follow Germany into recession with recorded growth of 0.4% which is welcomed. It also represents a decent swing from the last quarter and if we Americanise the numbers is 2.4% annually. That would be very good when you consider parliament is broken right now.
On top of this unemployment is likely to remain held at 3.9%
Wage growth at 3.8% is also welcomed.
Things look quite good from a numbers perspective.

Could you explain how 0.4 annualised = 2.4?

Once the numbers are properly finalised the 0.3 growth won't exist.

That we are arguing about the real size of growth over a period is nice. Decent figures brings out the nit-pickers who canβt take it.
