Fletcher. Fletch. The Fletchmeister.
Give an interview. Be contrite. Say you have had terrible nerves for the last 5 games and since you were employed which you clearly have (to me it’s bordering on anxiety and I am not going to knock a man for that). It is clearly his dream to manage a pro club. Tell the supporters that you will do everything you can to turn it around and you just need some time. It is extremely unlikely we will get relegated and if at any point from now on we are within x amount of points of the bottom you will stand down. You do not expect that to be the case. Just show some emotion and you’re genuine personality. I am quite prepared to back the bloke.

Did his appointment get announced at his first home game? I don't recall him stepping onto the pitch with a wave, its like he just came in with a blanket over his head.

He already had a couple of losses under his belt by that stage, probably didn’t want it.

No thanks, keep him where he is, where his best assets can be used to their fullest effect. I was talking to someone connected and he said RE sessions are good, build on that with direction and leadership. However, with the rumours of bust ups being aired I’d suggest that none of them are being used correctly or being shown leadership and direction, hence he confrontations, if they are true of course.

Re: Fletcher. Fletch. The Fletchmeister.
This is where I have a problem. I thought Ross was doing a good job, but according to experts on here & social media in general, he was out of his depth, too nice, didn't know what he was doing etc etc
With all that cr@p going on, could you blame him for stepping down ?
The good run of form came after he made his decision so maybe he was a bit more relaxed after that.
What I don't want is to go back to that era when we would have 3 or 4 bosses before Xmas. 5 games is too early, give it till February & then see where we are.

True. RE was out of his depth, that was pretty obvious for most of his tenure. It wasn’t until he realised this and he fell on his sword that the pressure seemed to lift and we played three good games, and that seemed to make people forget how bad we’d been before that run - remember Macc away, Swindon home?O my gawd wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 10:05 amThis is where I have a problem. For whatever reason, the club took a decision on Fletcher and now we’re stuck with him. He must have had something going for him to get the job, so we just have to hope that he comes good soon. No-one want him to fail, and I guess he’ll be given til at least the New Year to prove himself.

Listen chuckles. This a message board where people post their views. If nobody posted their views then it would be a blank space of internet. Who knows what would come in its place. Personally I prefer it as a football club message board. If you prefer it as a place to buy plutonium or images of horses getting a blow job then good for you but children read this board. Time the mods banned this creature?BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 9:48 am Just what we need. Another thread about Fletcher just so we can all see your view on him

You've not contributed anything that someone else hasn't already said. I'd rather read what tuffers' view is than yours.Beradogs wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 10:39 amListen chuckles. He's not going anywhere soon. Probably best if we get behind him and cheer the boys all the way back to the National League.

Problem is Fletcher is also out of his depth.Stowaway wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 10:25 amTrue. RE was out of his depth, that was pretty obvious for most of his tenure. He needs to take the blanket off his head and have a look at what's going on!

Forget the blanket. Someone should give him a flying carpet.
