One of the worst central midfield displays I’ve seen from any player in an orient shirt today.

Why is he starting at the moment? Gorman put a good ball to the back post towards the end of the game, it was a weak header across goal by Clay. I know we almost scored but he has to do better. New manager looks like a horrible appointment at the moment. We need to see improvement.

Agree. The guy was appalling today.

Clay has been sh*te all season .
Yet many decided to focus on Sam ling .

Maybe so tuffers, but many question lings presence in the side down to his father. Today has clearly demonstrated that to be true.

Clay shouldn't be anywhere near the starting XI. He's been awful, performances and basic fitness. Could be down to grief losing JE for all we know but whatever the reason he needs taking out the firing line.

Play Marsh or Gorman until January then get a Dawson / Vincelot type in to boss the CM. Clay may need to go out on loan to NL or Scotland to find himself again.

I think Coulson is in a similar position and to some extent Brill (but watching Sargeant's efforts today there's no doubt even a 50% Brill is the best option we have)

Brill, ling, clay, coulson, Gorman, JMD, alabi. None of them good enough. All need to be moved on soonest.

Happe is carrying Coulson at the moment.

I have no idea why Sam Ling was offered a contract extension by our DOF at a time we didn’t have a full time manager?
