I said at the time we should have brought back Russell Slade . You can't tell me things would have been worse than this cackfest with Russell in charge . He has the experience , personality and passion to get this club moving again in the right direction . Plus, being here before he knows what our club is all about . A wasted opportunity .

Exactly, knows the coaching team too. The reason someone like him did not get picked cos he would have questioned Ling and Ling dont want that.

Would love to have had Slade back. He is at bloody Hereford and would have jumped at the chance. Saw them last week. I gave a he’s got no hair etc for old times sake. Nobody joined in and an angry looking farmer looked like he wanted to clock me.

Again with the what we would want rubbish.

Slade wouldnt neccesarily want to come back down south, he said how hard it was the 1st time
5 days a week down here & dash back north to be with
His family for a day & a bit.

Yes id love him back here but its highly unlikely.

John Still for me for half a season to stabalise the club .
If the right man is not available then give him another year. Hes form the south doesnt have to move & can go home every night.

Well, if that really is the case then we'e going to start paying for it . I was just wondering , is this the club's worse result in it's history . I can't remember losing to a club four divisions below us before

Like I said on the other thread, this has to be one of our worst results in our entire history.
