Appointing Fletcher was a huge mistake. Keeping him any longer would be an insult to Justin's memory. GET RID!

Salford at home wasn't embarrassing? It was utterly humiliating. Today was expected after how this season has panned out, people were looking at sticking money on them at 12/1

Pretty disgusting to invoke Justin's memory to have a pop at Fletcher.

I totally disagree . Losing to Salford was simply a bad result against the wealthiest club in our league . Today was humiliating and utterly unacceptable

They're not mutually exclusive, they can both be humiliating.

The whole process of waiting so long for Ross to decide to step down, to how long it took to get a new manager, to Fletcher signing and having barely any time to work with the players, to this point. It all sums up where this club is now.

Poor recruitment in the summer, whether that's not signing in areas we were short, to not strengthening in areas we are weak. Not using the time wisely when Embleton was having a terrible time. We should have known then who the top 3 people we wanted were. Then if any surprising applications come in, add them to the list. They took ages to appoint the manager, who ended up being a man whose last job wasn't even a coaching role. They announced it at a stupid time and gave Fletcher, the coaches and players, barely any time to implement any changes on the training ground. The fact that any manager coming into this set up would have to work with Ling's men and under Ling (who isn't upto the role).

Poor decision after poor decision from the board and Ling have undone all the cohesion, togetherness and goodwill there was between the players, coaches, management and supporters.

We didn't qualify last year under JE for the first round of the FA cup for first time in clubs history.

What an awful start for this manager. At the moment, he looks like he hasn't a clue what he is doing. Things can only get better, fingers xxx

Whilst that was bad, at least JE knew what he was doing, tried to play the people around the fringe thus freshening up the regulars. He had a plan. Fletch ain't got a scooby doo.

I’m not sure about the middle sentence, but I’m afraid the other 2 look spot on. Fletch has all the charisma of an Energy Vampire from that What We Do In The Shadows comedy, and a head-scratchingly blank CV when it comes to 1st team management. He must have somehow impressed through the interviews, but how the hell did people as experienced as Ling & Matt Porter fall for it?

No he didn’t. Justin stuck with the core players as much as absolutely possible.

Its not about JE, as much as we love him, we need to move on or we're going to let the past hang over everything we do. You just can't do that. We need to embrace the new.
