We’ve done the not enough time with the players
We’ve done the travel and the mental fatigue and physical fatigue stuff

So I expect it to be the difficult conditions

Trouble is nobody knows what he means. I’ve listened to his interviews a few times and they are gobbledegook. Maybe the players are delivering after all.

I predict 10 “like I saids” 5 “you know what I means” 3 looks around like he is trying to find a mystery person in the crowd who doesn’t exist.

It will be toe curling. He will look away, blame everything apart from himself. I don't see much of a leader in him I'm afraid. His inspirational qualities match those of a rubber duck in a wet suit at present.

Stop insulting rubber ducks in wet suits immediately.

Wilkinson has picked up an injury. Relegation battle here we come with Alabi as our only other striking option :?

Perhaps he already had one at the start...or he was a risk.

Biggest risk is him chinning the Head Coach for being an absolute plonker.

You've got to start wondering what they're doing in training and the treatment room to pick up so many injuries outside of matches if that's the case.

Yeah no what you mean, sorry I don’t know what you mean.
We didn’t do our best but hey at least they turned up for training, so that’s a positive!
The result wasn’t bad I mean to say it was dire. However we’ve got a couple of weeks off now so don’t criticise me until after the next game sorry I mean league game. The next two don’t count do they!!

Having listened to a couple of Carl’s, er, stirring debriefs so far, I am wondering just how he managed to overcome the obvious not-managed-much-or-for-ages handicap he must have had in the job interview process. His sparkling repartee, cliche-free mumblings, and positive body language when faced with the fearsome Dulcet Dave is a marvel to behold so far...
