I couldn't believe what he was doing in the second half. The ball was never going out.

Heavy bushes. Holes in the pitch. A dark corner of the field.

Reasons why you think this to be the case:

1) Has spent a lot of time out there covering Lingy all season, now playing full back himself so he's going to be playing a large chunk of the game in that area.

2) You don't sit in the East/South corner so won't as readily remember the amount of times the same thing happens there.

If you're talking about the time on Saturday he was doubled up on, he should have had a shout to let him know there was a second man coming and ordered to clear the ball. There was no such instruction.

Because he should never have needed it. Everybody in the ground saw that that ball didn't have the legs to go out.

And one on one, he believed he had the situation under control.

It was but it was also bloody funny. Everybody in the ground saw what was happening, except for him. He had a couple of dodgy moments but still like him as a player. Does some good stuff too and always in the game.
