El Camino TV Shows etc

Post by Constanza »

Got round to watching this last night.
I thought it was just OK to be honest and don't see why they bothered.
What do you breaking badders feel?

Sorry to be a, bitch.

Slight aside here, erindoors is force feeding me Breaking Bad but l feel the need for advice. Should l sit it out in the hope that it might quicken the pace a tad - or is it advisable to get out now to avoid the eventual disappointment? All advice welcome.

I enjoyed it enough too Consty, with some fine supporting performances, but agree it wasn’t exactly “don’t miss” tv.

I've just started watching it ( 6 episodes in) and personally think the pace of it ok as it shows you how the character comes to be in the circumstances he is.

Totally agree. Like you Breaking Bad is one of my all time TV shows but can't really see why they bothered with this.

Just finished Top Boy on Netflix. Not quite as good as Gomorrah but really excellent and gritty.
The kids particularly were amazing.
Onto The End of f*cking World now - really loved series one- kind of a UK Twin Peaks vibe.

Disagree Connie. I got dragged back into it straight away. Good to see the matured version of Pinkman. Was poignant when it needed to be too.

Do you watch Better Call Saul?

I watched the call Saul series before starting B Bad, l understand it is something of a prequel... ish. It's the better of the two imo, less need to write in a stupid person just to make the plot work. Just starting the final series where, it seems, Walter is turning into Fring.

El Camino was worth it just for Fat Damon.
