People trafficking is a terrible crime and the full force of the law must be brought upon those that commit it.

This lorry, apparently, travelled all the way from Bulgaria, right across the continent of Europe. The question is, was this
lorry ever checked or inspected, at any time, on its route?

The lorry is from Bulgaria. The tragic people in it most likely were not.

Lorry may be from Bulgaria...that is no indication of where the deceased came from.
The lorry driver is from Northern Ireland
Lorry came into UK via Ireland
Absolutely nothing (at this stage) to suggest the deceased "Must be slaves" or indeed there whereabout
I would suggest you have gone beyond speculation in asserting as a fact the deceased "MUST be slaves", not that they may be slaves. Indeed that may well be something a jury have to decide at any subsequent criminal trial ( if there is one) or at any inquest
At this stage and with no evidence, is is only an idiot who would declare the deceased must be slaves

Its not a huge stretch to suggest they are not migrants. Quotes in the article suggest its people who have been trafficked, whether they came willingly or not we dont yet know.

I watched On BBC news ( ch 231 ) this morning ,
They were SUGGESTING the possibility of
A refugees
B Slave trade ,
They mentioned Thailand , China , or other Far east countries.
Maybe they were given some information or the reporter saw some of
the bodies.Taken from the lorry.
Of course they did not commit to these
options as that would be very silly too

Trailer came from Zeebrugge into Purfleet. So may be nothing to do with Bulgaria at all.

Lorry registered in Bulgaria but owned by an Irish company. Oh the joys of EU free trade law.
And though the driver will end up in jail for a long time with his defence paid for by Legal Aid, probably, the Big Guys who make the money will again, probably, not be found to be prosecuted.
Rest in peace all 39 of you wherever u came from and whatever deity u looked up to.
