Won't be going myself because of the competition.
On the same night Chelsea host Ajax in the Champions league but it seems UEFA and the Met have got involved and banned Ajax fans from the game (not sure why) it seems up to 2000 Dutch fans have already booked travel and accommodation and a fans rep from Ajax has tweeted the club asking if they can come to our match instead.
I have pasted the tweet below seems genuine.
Dear @leytonorientfc. Are you willing to host 2.000 Ajax fans? We are systematicly and unlawfully screwed by @UEFA and @metpoliceuk. Lots of us booked transport and hotels allready ans will travel. You might risk a great atmosphere and memories forever. Kind regards,

Macklin should be all over this.
Open up the East Stand and give it to the Dutch, get Heineken on tap, encourage instruments.
An unexpected boost to revenues. The competition is tinpot anyway.

How can we stop them?
Reckon the OTF, LOFT and OFF will have to join forces for this one.

Think of the O-nuts we could sell
Seriously though providing they behave themselves then it would be good revenue for the club and maybe the Ajax fans would adopt Leyton Orient as a secondary club.

I can't see why these fans would be trouble, because Ajax would be in deep trouble if trouble happened at a game like this. The bigger issue might be what troublesome groups in England might see this as a one off opportunity....
I ope not, but its this sort of issue that might just puncture a genuine opportunity to recruit a new band of foreign supporters.

I’m sure the OTF can behave for one night.

Could we goad them into tearing down the East Stand? We can then bill them for a new one.

Personally, If they want to come, then why not, they just want to see a game of footie, haven't some of our supporters in the past contacted another club due to our away game called off late in the day and being welcomed with open arms by the club contacted. After all money is money, and it gives us a chance to get rid of some of the "god awful" burgers on them.

Would be up for 'protesting against modern football' as one of their supporters has suggested on twitter.

Why would you want to stop them. The extra income would be a great boost to the club

If they are turning up, I'm going as I'd want to be a part of that atmosphere and they are proper.
