According to the experts
And the government have already started building a new capital city in East Kalimantan on the island of Borneo

Sounds like they have only themselves to blame.
Jesus wept.
You obviously haven't read the facts on this.

Go back to what I was saying just yesterday, land erosion is a massive problem, in this instance it’s been exasperated by the actions of mankind. When will we learn.
Go back to Haiti and the country has been destroyed due to the government getting rid or chopping down all the forestry, there. They wonder why they suffer so badly with natural occurrences as they have bled the land dry. The Dominican is a splendid oasis of greenery and does not suffer the same fate, yet cross the border and it’s like night and day immediately.

Read the article on Jakarta then tell me it’s not a man made problem. Then go research Haiti and it’s sister on the same island and the tell me it’s not the actions of man which has caused the devastation there.

The Scripps researcher stressed that there was no link between this event and climate change. Satellite data since the 1990s has shown that Amery is roughly in balance with its surroundings, despite experiencing strong surface melt in summer.
"While there is much to be concerned about in Antarctica, there is no cause for alarm yet for this particular ice shelf," Prof Fricker added.
The Australian Antarctic Division will however be watching Amery closely to see if it reacts at all. The division's scientists have instrumentation in the region.
It's possible the loss of such a big berg will change the stress geometry across the front of the ice shelf. This could influence the behaviour of cracks, and even the stability of Loose Tooth.
Nothing to say this berg , doesnt mean its not the cause of the overall shrinkage of ive in both ice continents .

I beg to differ according to the “experts” this was due to happen albeit 4 years earlier than it actually has
But it doesn’t pose any significant danger to the ice caps or planet it’s a natural occurrence
