I wish him all the best and hope he does well. As mentioned, 18 month contract for someone after an owner has said there’s a 3/4 year plan to get promotion and a 6 year plan to get to the Championship is bizarre.

Yes, I agree he will need to strengthen the squad in January, that’s for sure. It’s going to be interesting to see who he’s able to bring in. Welcome to Orient Carl and good luck

You do realise contracts can be extended if mutually agreeable, right?

If he’s doing well, I’m sure the club would offer him a contract extension.

From the videos I like what I hear and listening to Carl I find him an impressive guy. Onwards and hopefully upwards.

Seems like a nice guy from the interview.

Hopefully he will get some money to spend and can sort out our defence.

Not on the bench v Grimsby so his first real game will be against Plymouth.

There's no point denying that I'm unconvinced by his track record. He could turn out to be an absolute diamond. He could also turn out to be an absolute turnip. Until we start to get a full picture I will of course be giving him and the boys my full support. My gut instinct is, however, what it is and turnip seems far more likely than diamond.
