I've chosen Wrexham. They've been in this league far too long. To me, they are - and always will be - a Football League club.

Same here. A proper club out of the league for too long.

Could not care less. It's interesting that Wrexham are the only club that have been football league before. Wrexham are the only team that I don't believe will win it. They were a poor team in all 3 games against us, have choked in most of their big games this season and don't have a goalscorer. If Salford can put yesterday behind them, they should win it, but Fylde, Solihull and Eastleigh will be confident. Harrogate are outsiders in my book.

All season I've been saying that if we win the thing I'd like Wrexham to go up via play-offs.
The sentiment still stands but i wouldn't begrudge Fylde a place in the Football League after doing us such a massive favor yesterday.
Ultimately, i'd be pleased with anyone but Salford. Can't stand that club and the smug Class of 92 who bankroll it.

Hope Solihull do it. For a club of their size and resources to compete with the big boys like Orient and Salford all season long is a remarkable achievement. Would be great to see someone like them in the football league.

Wrexham. Big fan base, proper ground and cant imagine how they feel being down here for as long as they have. The fans deserve a promotion.

If Wrexham don't do it then Fylde.

Hope Wrexham finally do it and come up with us, however as long as it’s not Salford I’ll be happy.

Fylde for me. Played football the right way (as did Wrexham).

Originally I wanted Fylde but on reflection I've gone for Wrexham. Their a big club that should have got out of the National League years ago . Also , I agree with LittleMate that they play football the right way.

Quite liked Harrogate when they came down last week. Didn't attempt to kick lumps out our players and played some good football. Also I liked their kit and their mini centre midfielders.

Re: Who do you want to be promoted via the National League playoffs?
My old neighbour in Leytonstone was a Wrexham fan and I feel a bit guilty about how mean I was to him when we beat them in the play offs.
So I have voted for Fylde because at the end of the day I never really forgave him for getting up a petition to remove the "gypos" from the grounds of Leytonstone House and knocking on my door, as Head of the Neighbourhood Watch, and expecting me to sign it.

Re: Who do you want to be promoted via the National League playoffs?
I've chosen us. Why? Because I am sitting here in a completely stupid and probably unnecessary totally nervy tiz about this coming Saturday. All the years of heartache might just yield another promotion for us on Saturday but I can't believe it until it is mathematically impossible for anyone to catch us. Common sense, reason and everything else says we are there but I am a lifelong fan. Hence my hedging. If we do make it though I'm going for Fylde as I reckon we'd beat them twice next season and get 6 points towards the 52 that would guarantee us safety.

Wrexham. Old school football club. Working class fans. 10 years in this league. Can you imagine. Anyway, we are not up yet.

Apart from Salford I couldn't think of anyone worse after yesterday.Millennial Snowflake wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 10:37 am Hope Solihull do it. Moronic fans and stewards, completely running of bottled water before kick off in the burger van and then refusing to sell me one of the huge amounts in a bucket in the beer tent....
Also for the eejit who thought it a good idea not to give us the whole of the standing area behind the goal and small seating section as per last season which would have prevented all the issues that occurred yesterday.
Would like Harrogate, just for the way they played against us the other day.

Hope Eastleigh can do it, they looked a decent side with decent fans and have always liked Paul McCallum. Not sure he would be the same player in L2 mind.

Solihull or Eastleigh. Whichever one is going to have the least impact on League Two next season. Unless we don't win the league, then us, obviously.

Re: Who do you want to be promoted via the National League playoffs?
I wonder if Solihull or Eastleigh (and possibly Fylde or Harrogate) would want to be promoted. It will cost a lot and they are all likely to struggle. Bigger clubs like Lincoln and Tranmere have gone up and thrived, but Maccesfield haven't. Not even in their first spell when they were mostly in the bottom quarter.Mr. Peanutbutter wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 3:06 pm Solihull or Eastleigh.
