What a Class act .
Losing his mate & Gaffer in May
Dealing with the fall out ,
Goes back to coaching & shows his metal
With 7 points from 9 .
Good luck Rossy boy with getting back into

Re: Ross Embleton
Thank you Ross for all you've done so far for our great club so far.
You've done a very difficult job with great integrity & left the team in good shape for the new man to carry on. Keep up the good work back in your more familiar role

Given our lack of success this season, it is remarkable the warmth the clubโs fans feel towards Ross.SuperO1881 wrote: โSun Oct 13, 2019 9:31 am We've sent Ross these comments as he (rightly) doesn't look on here.
That is the quality of the fella.

Re: Ross Embleton
Think it's fair to say the lack of success is due to the tragic loss we suffered in the summer. This isn't a normal situation and therefore won't be a normal season.Disoriented wrote: โSun Oct 13, 2019 9:42 amGiven our lack of success this season, it is remarkable the warmth the clubโs fans feel towards Ross.SuperO1881 wrote: โSun Oct 13, 2019 9:31 am We've sent Ross these comments as he (rightly) doesn't look on here.

Re: Ross Embleton
It has certainly contributed as there was rightly a pall of gloom around the club at the start of the season. However, our shaky start would have been tolerated less if someone with REโs outlook wasnโt the pilot. Again, that shows his virtues.SuperO1881 wrote: โSun Oct 13, 2019 9:44 amThink it's fair to say the lack of success is due to the tragic loss we suffered in the summer. Just watched his post match interview. Whatever his shortcomings might be as a manager, he has no shortcomings as a man. The more I listen to him the greater the respect I have for him.

Other than a blaming rather than taking responsibility approach to things, such as chucking people under the bus if they make a mistake. That's not just a managerial shortcoming.LittleMate wrote: โSun Oct 13, 2019 9:55 am Whatever his shortcomings might be as a manager, he has no shortcomings as a man.

Re: Ross Embleton
There's a separate thread for that incident, but footballs a game played by men and men need to accept their mistakes whether aired in public or private. If a single mistake throws a player under a bus, then the game would have none left. No need to be dramatic about the incident.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: โSun Oct 13, 2019 12:44 pmOther than a blaming rather than taking responsibility approach to things, such as chucking people under the bus if they make a mistake. Some dubious sorts on here as with any medium, but wouldn't say he 'rightly' doesn't look on here.SuperO1881 wrote: โSun Oct 13, 2019 11:39 amAs in Steve and I (podcast) And I meant we've sent him some of the messages on other threads.Prestige Worldwide wrote: โSun Oct 13, 2019 9:48 amWho's we?SuperO1881 wrote: โSun Oct 13, 2019 9:31 am We've sent Ross these comments as he (rightly) doesn't look on here.

Good interview, good words.
You can see and hear the difference in him these last 3 games.

Yeah, pressure has come right off since then. He definitely made the right decision for himself as well as the club.

Re: Ross Embleton
I hope now everybody accepts that he was absolutely the right appointment in the circumstances. What he has done for this football club is about so much more than 16 points. Whatever happens from here, Ross, thank you for all that you have done.
