Widdowson last goal
Came when he played for Grimsby on January 24th 2009 (against Rotherham).
It was the same week that Martin Ling was sacked as Leyton Orient manager.
Seems like a long time ago.

Re: Widdowson last goal
Hit with his swinger, with pace, power and swerve, top quality finish, loved it massively.

Re: Widdowson last goal
I think he is generally fairly solid if unspectacular. Not afraid to mix it with opponents and defensively OK.
His goal really took me by surprise, saw him getting to the ball, didn’t expect a shot, especially on his right (take note Brophy) and what a cracker. Definitely the turning point in the game. Well done Joe. More please.

Re: Widdowson last goal
I like Joe but I find him a bit frustrating at times. I just wish he would back himself a bit more when we go forward rather than constantly checking his runs and passing backwards. It was a lovely strike yesterday and it gave us momentum to go on and win the game.
