Re: Martin Ditherling
Not dithering at all, just doing everything possible to ensure we get the right man + Kent isn’t in the country until Saturday. Darren Currie now favourite and, personally I’d be more than happy for either him or Darryl McMahon.

Phil Parkinson please not an untried and untested manager thanks.
I'd still smash the bank and go for Curbishley.

Re: Martin Ditherling
Not dithering. This is a major decision and he needs to get it right. In the meantime Ross has delivered 4 points from 6 so is holding the fort quite well for now.
Won’t be announced until Kent arrives and gets involved. Fair to me.
We will all be put out of our misery very soon. I just hope it’s not out of the frying pan etc and we get a decent, experienced guy. No more Head Coaches still wearing ‘L’ plates, not right now. Ling ain’t that stupid.

A shortlist is only a small part of the process flow. Nor has it been over two weeks since Embleton stood down as you claim in your opening post.

I'd rather have Adams than Currie , then again I'd rather have Chinese than a Currie .Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 3:55 pmA shortlist is only a small part of the process flow. Nor has it been over two weeks since Embleton stood down as you claim in your opening post.

No? It was announced on the 23rd Sep. It’s now the 10th October. So, over 2 weeks.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 3:55 pmA shortlist is only a small part of the process flow. Nor has it been over two weeks since Embleton stood down as you claim in your opening post.

Do you understand the stages in the process flow for a new appointment though?

Of course. Which is why it’s so frustrating. After appointing an interim manager 4 months ago, this shouldn’t have taken longer than a weekSmendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 4:50 pmFair dos. i messed my weeks up so I'll put my hands up to that error.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 4:40 pmNo? Re: Martin Ditherling
I dare say Ling knew it was a real probability before the announcement too. But still not dithering, just doing due diligence before making a decision. I’m sure he will get it right and it will be worth the wait.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 4:40 pmNo? It was announced on the 23rd Sep. It’s now the 10th October. Re: Martin Ditherling
Absolute rubbish, it was thought by Martin Ling that Ross could do the manager's job. He has admitted that he is a coach and not a manager so we started to look for his replacement. If we appointed a manager after a week of searching and interviews and he was a failure, you would be the first to complain.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 4:52 pmOf course. Re: Martin Ditherling
I had a chat with Martin earlier today and he said he's sorry for the delay in appointing a new manager, but he has been busy organising the extinction rebellion protest and as you can see from the TV it's taken a lot of planning and rounding up of people to make it the success it's been.
Now it's up and running he will now focus his attention to finding us a new manager. A fully electric car will be provided for the new managers use he slipped in as we parted company.

If he thought he was suitable long term, he needs sacking asapLovejoy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 4:58 pmAbsolute rubbish, it was thought by Martin Ling that Ross could do the manager's job. Re: Martin Ditherling
I don't think hes ever said it was long term, rather just this "interim" period of indeterminate length.

Re: Martin Ditherling
You clearly don't understand because you're giving too much weight to an early stage and fast turnaround part of the process flow. That's ignoring your "had four months to do this" comments which have been debunked many times.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 4:52 pmOf course. Which is why it’s so frustrating.
