Agreed. Ling clearly indicated that the process would not be rushed. I would guess that things will be concluded prior to the Walsall home game on 12th October.

But they've only been looking for the last week & a half not 4 months as they didn't know the Ross thing wasn't going to work out?
Like any job the interview process takes awhile so they get the right person in.

By the way, they had a good idea Ross was not going to work out by giving him the interim title.

Yeah, bit naive to suggest that. But clearly availability changes over time and now there is a vacancy the club want to follow a process to ensure we get the best man.

Nathan Jones seems as good as gone at Stoke. I'd wait for them to pull the trigger and then at least have a chat with him.
