What is the structure of the women’s game? How far away are we from the top division?

The scheme appears to be in a "let's see how it goes" phase. If they and the women's game in general keeps moving in the right direction, they will be a full Leyton Orient side. Still early days yet.

Orient women are also at tier 4, in FA Women’s National League Division 1 South East. As you can see the division names are just as silly as the men’s game. Wiki has a page on the women’s pyramid in England.

It means I feel no affiliation to them and dont care if they win the champions league or get relegated 5 divisions.

PW fair enough your entitled to your opinion, but I personally think it’s good to have a women’s team representing the club. The girls and women’s game is growing all the time and will only get bigger. My wife was talking to a school at the weekend and they were saying that girls football has now surpassed netball. Just 10 years ago no one would have thought that, times are changing.

Out of interest the last game they played at Brisbane road had a crowd of around 250 mainly Orient fans.
