Think he needs a new challenge. Best of luck to him. One of our own.

Good servant for the club and I’m sad to see him go.
I wish him luck as it’s quite a step up from L1

I think both sides need a break, I mean in the SPL you are one good season away from a Celtic/Rangers move or even a Championship team

On the other hand Ross County awaits.

Shows just how bad things must be in the dressing room when a servant like Happe decides to go.

Well if was both him and Beckles who got the recieving end of "my CBs can't play" so would you stick around after that?
No loss though, Orient couldn't keep Happe fit, perhaps Aberdeen will

Probably answered before.
But as we have stated we offered him a contract and he is a youth player. Do we get any statutory compensation out of it or is he too old for that now?

We can do a lot better.
There’s been speculation for the last few seasons.

Wish him all the best.
Dropping a level will do him good. Less of a strain on the body, can hopefully play more games.

Not sure playing the likes of Celtic and Rangers is ‘Dropping a level’ compared with us playing the likes of Burton and Bromley.

There aren't any others like Celtic or Rangers, though.

Does moving to the SPL ever really work out for these L1 players?
Marvin Ekpiteta did it and ended up playing L2 football with MK Dons (and soon to be back in L1).
Remember that Harry McKirdy bloke also went up to Hibs and properly fell off. Just been released by L2 Crawley.
Noah Chilvers I always thought was a decent Colchester United prospect. Been wasting away his best years at Ross County.
I think it’s far more likely that someone like Happe will spend a couple of seasons up there and end up back down in English L2 than getting a move to Rangers or Celtic - which is absurdly optimistic.
Can’t be fun having to relocate so far away too. Presumably these SPL clubs offer decent wages to entice players up there.

Other than Rangers and Celtic, it's a drop down.

A decent player on his day but a bit injury prone and replaceable. However he was a good servant to the club and I wish him good luck for the future

Sad in lots of ways, especially as he’s a youth product with 2 promotions and key to that fantastic playoff season and his last game wasn’t really any sort of send off.
Would have liked him to sign but feel he’s replaceable and we can probably do better all things considered

As we offered him a new contract, do we get a fee ?
