No chance he’ll be coming with the Spurs links

Well technically you were very close with your last prediction.

I wonder if he had a connection with the Macclesfield fans, beyond keeping them up. From what I see of him, he's very aloof and as such will be thrown to the lions of the forum unless he either (a) opens up or (b) does anything but win the league.

Couldn't care less about his history with Spurs. If anyone does, then they clearly have more loyalty to Spurs than Orient, so I don't care what they think. I don't know if he's the best man for the job, but if he is, I'd back him. I'm not a fan of his politics, but the same would apply.

No thanks. I’d be really disappointed if we ended up with Sol Campbell. We need somebody with far more experience like JE was.

This bloke who is a multi millionaire stuck it out at Macclesfield while not getting paid.
That speaks volumes about his character and players will buy into him.
Did a superb job at Macclesfield and will do a superb job for us.
Leader through and through.

Please take note all those not wanting Sol Campbell as our next manager : for you will be expected to give your reasons to prop Joe after he asks the question, "why?"

I’m sure you don’t but the Spurs fans that put their money into Orient won’t be doing that much longer, the board will care about that.

They need to grow up if that is the case.

You do live in a dream world.

I wouldn't be against it, I'm for defenders as managers & believe SC will only get better but Nugent Orient legend & pretty good striker, (the praise ends there)is WRONG WRONG WRONG, he wouldn't last the season he is not cut out to be a manager period,
Now I like T & T but their appointment of RE was a sheer folly & I hope with all my heart they do not make the mistake twice,
I know a lot of o's fans got emotional & O'k-ed RE's appointment,
T & T
Please do not appoint Nuge ...

Campbell did an excellent job at Macclesfield, personally I'd rather we went with someone with more experience but I'm not sure I'd be too disappointed if he got the gig.

I have never been a big fan of him, but I have to admit that he did a really good job at Macclesfield last season.

Well impressed with the way he handled himself at Macclesfield.
Can’t have been easy travelling to Exeter etc on a Tuesday night and not getting paid.
Not paid for four months but stuck in there, not because of the money but the passion to do the job.
With excellent owners like ours I can see him being a major success.

Why . ? Because he’s a very inexperienced manager and he’s not what we need right now

Well this board is all about opinions and you’re entitled to your point of view but sorry,I can’t agree

He had 10 years experience in his 8 months at Macclesfield.
Constantly fighting fires and leaving them in a better position.
And wasn’t sacked.
