Manager you'd like appointed

If we are serious about getting to the championship and I believe the owners when they say they are. I would move heaven and earth to get Alan Curbishley through the door.

He has been there, done that and has a good solid and dependable record. A man of integrity who could work well with the structure and owners and has the the sort of image that they wish to portray. He would command instant respect having played at the highest level, coached and managed a team in the premier league and kept them there season after season.

This could be the last throw of the dice for him, he don't need the money, but I'm sure taking us up 2 divisions or so may just appeal to his inner winner. Plus his son supports Orient. Winner winner chicken dinner.

Would you support AC? Or who would you like to see in the dugout?

It's quite a while since he managed, but quality is quality.

First name crossed off in my game of ridiculous manager suggestion Bingo.

Waiting for Joe Kinnear, Chris Kinnear, Roy Kinnear and Matt Lockwood to be suggested next. Oh and John Still.

I'd like to see someone with a modern take on management coming in, a manager who we can see from previous club has brought that togetherness to a squad.

Daryl McMahon, Dave Challinor top picks personally.

You missed off Russell Slade and Martin Ling.

Dave Challinor. I doubt he is too expensive. Slight wobble the first few games this season but Fylde are recovering now. Came across as different class last season.

Personally I think it’s doubtful that we’ll be able to bring in anyone who is currently holding down a managerial role such as Challinor or McMahon. If that is the case, my choice would be someone who is cut from the same cloth as JE, has experience and at least some small past history of success in the lower leagues. Possible contenders on that basis :-
Phil Parkinson
Steve Cotterill
Chris Powell
Ian Holloway
Gary Rowett.
How many of them might be tempted by the job is another thing of course.

When did Fylde start recovering, they beat Eastleigh last Saturday who are down the bottom of the table with them? That ended a winless run of seven games, one win is not a recovery.

I doubt we’ll go for somebody who’s already employed. Look at who’s unemployed at the moment and available

I’m not sure Gary Rowett would drop down to League Two but the other four might. You never know until you ask.

After Ian Holloways VAR, EU, Uefa, Brexit rant, he could be loosing the plot. Always, liked him as a manager tho.
