T&T / ML please note - the most worrying scenario...

There are 3 scenarios at play
One - We keep on losing / drawing - RE loses his job (in next few weeks at most) and goes back to assistant to a experienced incoming manager - who also has time to assess and steer the team before the winter transfer window
Two - We pick up well and head for the safety of mid-table by Xmas - and RE stays and gains experience
Three (and IMHO) - we bump along near the bottom - with mediocre results - the board fail to change the manager and we have a poor run in and face the real prospect of dropping back to NON-LEAGUE. (BTW - getting relegated would kill the club!)
Given the reality of the above - I feel that we must take action if the team doesn't quickly pick and sustain positive results. T&T and ML must be all over this decision We all want RE to succeed however the league status of our club is too precious for any unnecessary risks. Anyway - as Champions of the NL we should be doing much better than we have so far...
