Certainly not the sort of film I would watch or care to know about.

It’s a curiously persistent genre. Poor plots, dodgy acting, low budget guff for the most part. But I guess it must be making enough money as dvd sales/satellite & streaming schedule filler (as well as taking advantage of the tax breaks) or they wouldn’t keep churning out this tat.

Why not? It is full of pumped up prima donnas with a sense of entitlement robbing the poor, lying to get what they want and treating their acolytes like the gullible fools they are.
