When will the planned pre-season catering improvements actually begin?Andy Gilson wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 7:42 pm This Thursday its the turn of club CEO Danny Macklin to be interviewed on The Orient Hour. How long will we be the only sporting club, amateur or professional, to not serve burgers to patrons?

Criticisim of the players on this message Board is clearly affecting their on field performance. On a scale of 1 to 10 where ten is the highest mark you can award. How bad do you think the situation is?

Do suggestions from this message board ever get discussed at the other board level?
If not, why not?

This show is made for ComeOnYouOs to be invited on. Two happy clappy presenters who are positive about the club (which he won't like) and a guest he doesn't like and wants to quiz who will destroy him.
1) How do you rate the success of the live match streams so far?
2) Some fans like ComeOnYouOs are critical of you for generating more revenue for the club from creative methods/sponsorship opportunities. What do you say to those fans?
3) Any news on the third kit and a classic kit for this season?

I asked Paul and Steve if they'd join our team of presenters and they said yes. We have four presenting teams of which they are one. This is providing us with a different style of show each week and listening figures are up this season, which is good. Thanks.

Danny it has been well documented that the football club has made a loss in previous seasons and Nigel and Kent have both said it would be reduced this year and hopefully further still in the future.
At what point do you envisage that we break even as a football club? What further initiatives do you have up your sleeve to help drive the revenue to levels where break even becomes a realistic target?
My daughter also would like a burger in the North stand.

Barry Hearn tried to do that for 19 years and failed in 17 of them.
The only way you are going to do that is to draw Man Utd etc away in the cup.
Selling a couple of extra burgers or shirts is not going to reduce a 1.5 m deficit.

A very overly and unnecesarily defensive response that.Andy Gilson wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 10:19 pmRedO wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 9:47 pmAre they the podcast guys? Yer, I voting with the same question of why does the PA system have only two settings ... ‘off’ and ‘is that blood on my collar?’ (TJ South)

Re: Questions For CEO Danny Macklin. Orient Hour Thurs
A short time ago there were requests on social media, by disabled supporters and others, for people to refrain from watching the end of games near the exits. I notice this is still going on and from where I sit in the West Stand, I can see that it prevents disabled supporters and those in the bottom row seeing the game. As not all supporters would have seen the request, could the club make supporters aware by their usual means and be proactive in stopping this practice. Thank you.

Not really, just an explanatory one, and a justification of the decision. Thanks.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 11:19 pmA very overly and unnecesarily defensive response that.Andy Gilson wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 10:19 pm

Is striving to break even unrealistic when player wages are so high?

How much additional income have you been able to generate with the new sponsorship deals, pricing changes etc. and what is that income earmarked for (staffing, player wages, transfer budget etc?)

Re: Questions For CEO Danny Macklin. Orient Hour Thurs
It really was. He was asking why they were on, to which you could have said "Because they are now part of the rotation of presenters" and not the unnecessary and overly defensive bit afterwards. You could have just admitted to an error of judgement and moved on but instead are keeping up the defensiveness in your reply to me. Which is a shame.Andy Gilson wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 7:54 amNot really, just an explanatory one, and a justification of the decision.
