Part of the O's family, deserved the applause as a fan and especially for his work and dedication.

During the Beelzebub years when I refused to buy a ticket, Dave always had a wad of the silly number of freebies divvied out then (in this case to the walking football crew). So I got a comp from him nearly every match I felt like attending, even if it was mostly just to catch up with mates and have a beer. Cheers for that, Dave. Glad to hear he was remembered at the match.

No surprise to hear of the Loft boys getting in on the freebie ticket action.

Made me a bit emotional actually. Didnt know him very well at all but helped my partner after her dad died two years ago who was one of his mates, so brought some of that back i think. Real Orient character and was a nice touch from the club to remember him.

Well done to the Swindon fans certainly. To be fair all such occasions get a good response from all fans. The football family understands this kind of thing.

When I go I'd like the fans to partake in a minute's booing and chants of Eustace Out!
