He started as a goodie and then became a baddie. Of course that's according our media which isn't particularly unbiased.

He once told Tony Blair during some international spat to, "keep his pink nose out of it". Why the use of an adjective I do not know

A Goodie? Must have been before my time.

I only ever remember Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graham Garden & Bill Oddie

When Mugabe was a Goodie did they have a 4 seater bike?

You could say that about nearly every world leader. Not defending Mugabe, horrible man but not exactly a one off.

There wouldn't be much doubt about that, as he has described his predecessor as 'an icon!'

When Mugabe was a Goodie did they have a 4 seater bike?
During Rhodesia's Civil war
Mugabe was portrayed in the British press
as the Friend of Ian Smith & Nkomo was seen as
The Beast & bad guy of the day.

Only years later did it change to Nkomo was the
man to back & that Mugabe had conned all who
backed his rise to power.

Friend of Ian Smith? 😅
I couldnt think of a better way to describe it Dis'

He smarmed to him to get the better news & political coverage , so friend seemed the only reasonable word.

Nkomo was most definitely a foe to both.
