Also see how this big, strong and intimidating player makes a half arsed attempt to head the ball over the keeper from that through ball when he should be looking to win the header cleanly and with power first and worry about the keeper second.
I think that’s harsh. The ball was holding up and difficult to judge, don’t think he’s bottled it.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 4:01 pm Truly a superb clearance and just epitomises the fact that he needs a change of scenery.

The funny thing is if he would have scored all the Alabi knockers would have said "even he couldn't miss that"

That miss by Alabi is comedy gold.
Does that count you as well or are you exempt?
If by goalscoring positions, you meaning clearing one of our other strikers headers off the line, you’re dead right :Lol:Millennial Snowflake wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 4:19 pm Jesus, yes Alabi obviously ain't gonna make it here but some of the nitpicking about everything he does is embarrassing. He's f*cked up those chances because a lack of confidence means he's overthinking. For the attempted header he should have lifted it over the 'keeper or touched it past him, he just hasn't got enough power on it due to the bounce of the ball, hasn't bottled it at all
If a striker keeps missing chances he's still doing something right by getting those chances in the first place, would be more worrying if he wasn't getting into goalscoring positions at all
So trying to avoid a possible serious injury with the post doesn’t come into this no it’s all about the miss nothing else mattersApple Wumble wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 7:33 pmIf by goalscoring positions, you meaning clearing one of our other strikers headers off the line, you’re dead right :Lol:Millennial Snowflake wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 4:19 pm Jesus, yes Alabi obviously ain't gonna make it here but some of the nitpicking about everything he does is embarrassing. Half a yard out with an open goal and the ball coming to you isn’t a goalscoring position then?Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 7:33 pmIf by goalscoring positions, you meaning clearing one of our other strikers headers off the line, you’re dead right :Lol:Millennial Snowflake wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 4:19 pm Jesus, yes Alabi obviously ain't gonna make it here but some of the nitpicking about everything he does is embarrassing. Idiot
My point is I’d rather he was getting chances and missing them rather than not having a shot in 90 mins.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 7:46 pmWhat’s your point exactly?Millennial Snowflake wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 7:44 pmHalf a yard out with an open goal and the ball coming to you isn’t a goalscoring position then?Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 7:33 pm

I could get in goalscoring positions by your definition, don’t mean I’ll score any goals.
It sort of does mate...otherwise they would be good enough.Millennial Snowflake wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 7:57 pmJust because a player isn’t good enough for this level doesn’t mean everything he touches will turn to sh*tApple Wumble wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 7:46 pmWhat’s your point exactly?Millennial Snowflake wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 7:44 pm

Thanks for confirming how little you know. It’s axtually cringeworthy how you try to be a smartarse and pretend you’re an authority on the subject.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 8:14 pmIt sort of does mate...otherwise they would be good enough.Millennial Snowflake wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 7:57 pmJust because a player isn’t good enough for this level doesn’t mean everything he touches will turn to sh*tApple Wumble wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 7:46 pm

What is your solution about the problem that is Alabi? How long should we give him?Millennial Snowflake wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 9:17 pmThanks for confirming how little you know. Save talking bollocks for the sh*t long podcasts mate. At least I have the option of not listening to them.
So you agree player isn’t good enough for this league? At least you know something about football.Millennial Snowflake wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 9:17 pmThanks for confirming how little you know. Also I’m not defending him. I’m calling out people who need their opinion of him reinforcing so they find fault with every touch he takes. Just because a player isn’t good enough for this level doesn’t mean everything he touches will turn to sh*t
Hi 0.0, the solution is to let him go when his contract is up unless he's willing to leave before that. Me (and many others) have been saying Alabi isn’t good enough for a good while, so you’re right, I am an authority on this subject and you’ve taken up a very odd stance of agreeing with my point of view but still being wrong.
Not discussing with you any further as you clearly don’t know your arse from your elbow when it comes to football, and I won’t lower myself to your low knowledge level any longer.![]()

Over how many years? Let’s face it, he had one fluke season at Chester, but he’s not even good enough for the Conference proper. Hopefully Gorman and Dayton will join him on the train to Chelmsford soon enough, and our squad will be stronger for it.
