Part Time football

With the demise of Bury and several other clubs on the brink I can see a lot or lower league teams going part time.
This is the only solution to stop this happening time and time again.
Far to many clubs are relying on rich benefactors to plug the loses.
They always pass the fit and proper persons test because it’s either that or liquidation.
I think the bottom two leagues should also be regionalist as the idea on Carlisle playing Plymouth on a Tuesday night is to stupid for words.

Well it's not the only solution, is it?
We could always try redistributing the vast amounts of cash that flow into the game at the top throughout the whole pyramid (upon which the top league relies), so that clubs don't have to rely on sugar daddies.
It could start with bringing back the Premier League and EFL together under one body, and that body negotiating TV rights and distribution of the proceeds from those rights. If that's too "socialist", then perhaps an absolute cap on the number of players any team can register might mean that the top clubs can't hoard players, so those players have to start lower down the pyramid - then, if they're good enough, they can transfer up the leagues (meaning that cash actually does flow down from the top to the bottom)
There's a huge amount that could be done to stop the Burys and the Boltons (and the LOFC 2017s) happening - it's just that those with their snouts deepest into the trough don't want to.

It’s been 27 years since an EFL club last lost its League place (Maidstone resigned before they were kicked out). Yes, the member clubs, the EPL and FA need to have a good think about how to stop twats like the current & previous “owners” at Bury/Bolton repeating this sad scenario, but no need to go OTT about things.

Not going to happen, fantasy land stuff.
The big boys will look after themselves.
Why should they support clubs that continue to overpay their players?
As far as hoarding players? Well try stopping that and you will end up in court and lose.

Not at all.
If the ruling body(ies) can pass a rule of their competitions that states that "Player wages may only be x% of income" (for example), then they can equally well pass a rule that states "No Club can register more than 35 players at any one time".
How does the second one get the ruling body into court and the first one doesn't?
Indeed, it's a much easier rule to enforce, since registrations are held at the FA, and it doesn't need any scrutiny of accounts etc.

Not quite the same.
Clubs are happy to go along with this as “income” is not just gate money,it’s some rich Herbert like at city who will sponsor a players toe nail for 10 m.

If Bolton are expelled as well, league one clubs will suffer loss of income from two home games.
I am sure a club like Rochdale was looking forward to homegames against Bolton and Bury. Now they are going to miss out on a fair bit of money.
