What I would like to know, is what are the animal loving reactionaries going to do about the none too few animals that kill others for their food supplies? Will lions, tigers , wolves crocodiles etc, be issued with vegan recipe books? What about humans with their four canine teeth? Can they please explain to me, why they were issued to humans?

Guess we should all do as animals do. Piss and sh*t on the floor, fight and kill anyone who isn’t in our family and friendship group, etc...

So, what do we do, when Politicians decide that their fine " Race " is better and worthy of more breathing space than other folks? Do we hand them a vegan cook-book and hope they go away? It started off innocently - if people don’t want the vege ‘chicken’ they shouldn’t eat it. Not quite sure why offering an alternative inspires such hatred.

I love Quorn, especially the crispy fillets - there, I've said it.

Vegans won't eat at KFC even if they have a vegan option. KFC is associated with battery hens and all the Vegans I know identify with animal rights, and my wife is one of them so 'vegan chicken' is a non starter.

I'm not sure it's aimed at Vegans, to be honest - for the reasons you state.

I suspect it's more aimed at the veg-curious who are maybe wanting to reduce the number of times they eat meat in a week, but still want to eat largely as they have done before. There seem to be quite a few people (like me) who are cutting down on meat without fully giving it up - whether that be for reasons of health, environmental concerns, fashion or other.

I can never decide whether to have a leaf or a twig.
