New signings
It seems to have gone very quiet on this front.
Are the owners ambitious? Or are we going to muddle through as we have done in the past.
I noticed that the gate was below 5000 on Saturday, this will be the norm if we don’t show any ambition.

Re: New signings
Well they either back Ross now or bring in a new manager.
He is going to struggle with the lack of quality we’ve got.

Re: New signings
They’ll wait for a new manager. The new manager’s contract will say he’ll have to treat Sam Ling like he’s both Lionel Messi and the crown jewels though.

One of the untouchables for sure, but absolutely no suggestion of club interference in the manager’s decisions.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 9:11 pm They’ll wait for a new manager. Re: New signings
So nothing to do with the fact it was the last bank holiday weekend or some people will be taking there holidays etc
4 players have been brought in plus 1 on loan
Another pointless thread having a little snidey go at the board etc etc

Re: New signings
You’re certainly in a minority on the ‘other’ board. How long did it take you to get perma-banned?Lucky7 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 9:27 pmBelieve me that's a good thing Displaced

Re: New signings
Lack of LB cover will bite us unless the management show some faith in the youth players. If not then an experienced left-sided version of Turley might help shore up our defence, which is looking surprisingly shaky this season.
Upfront we could do with some quality off the bench but without Alabi moving on we're a bit stuck

Re: New signings
The gate against Cheltenham was a typical first game of the season attendance.
If you seriously think that about 2000 people are away on holiday then you are seriously deluded.
It’s clear the team needs strengthening especially at full back and midfield and the money is there from the sale of two players.
It’s now up to the owners whether we strengthen and progress or tread water and hope we get lucky in the play offs(if we ever get there)
The floating supporter will not become a regular if we are a club who sell there best players and don’t fully replace them.

Re: New signings
And how many players left at the end of last season?
They were getting paid wages as well. Or have you not fractured that one in? a bit like your attendance figures.

Re: New signings
In case you missed it
I’m assuming a lot of Orient and non Orient fans went to the first game to be able to pay there tributes etc to JE
It was the first real chance(bar the Norwich friendly) that the club and football supporters had to observe the passing of JE
Just a thought!!

Re: New signings
No Lucky7 isn't in the minority, genuine fans including me are still on their holidays.
Do you honestly think genuine fans who paid out for season tickets will boycott a game because we lose a game here & there? No
Your just trying to build a case for yet again more negatively from make out Orient fans.
The owners know exactly what their doing & if it wasn't for them you wouldn't have a club to keep on criticising.
Why not be positive for a change & have some faith.
Life could be worst, you could be a Bolton or Bury supporter.
I just don't get all this negativity on here.
Some of you need to get out more.

Re: New signings
First 5 home games of 2018/19
7/8/2018 Ebbsfleet United 4,710
11/8/2018 Barrow 4,304
18/8/2018 Boreham Wood 3,767
27/8/2018 Dover Athletic 4,641
4/9/2018 Solihull Moors 4,250
I’d say attendances are up and that pulls the plug on your attempted doom post
