RICHIE WELLENS BANNED

Apparently RW will not be allowed to take part in the proposed lap of honour with the entire squad after tomorrow’s match.

The reason, he has accumulated too many yellow cards.

Where is the logic in this?

I trust we will all call for him at the end of the match. ‘We want super Richie Wellens’

Must be a loophole, could he walk round before the game or wave from the gallery or walk along the concourses?

That’s a must . Richie has been fantastic ever since he walked through our doors.

I couldn’t agree more. The game is over so he’s only walking around the pitch waving to the crowd . It just spitefulness from the EFL .

Could he not be suspended from cables attached to the roofs of the stands, and do a "fly-around" lap of honour?

I’ve got a cunning plan, could he not dress up as Theo, or Cleo come to that, and thus parade around the pitch for the lap of honour?

Do you have any actual evidence for this or just hearsay?

Evidence  Don't you know the EFL have got it in for us. Who needs evidence when it is so obvious.

Interesting line from the article "Members of the Leyton Orient board will also be present, and Chairman Nigel Travis will address the Orient faithful following the conclusion of the lap". Not sure I recall Nigel addressing the faithful at the end of the season end lap of honour? Anyone else recall him doing this before? I wonder if there will be anything about the new owner??

Properly mental.

Understand the touchline ban but when the whistle blows the game is over. What benefit is anyone getting from him being inside? Is he not allowed on the pitch the whole weekend?

Luckily he can do a lap of honour with the playoff trophy at Wembley instead

He should just come out anyway. He can serve his new ban next season at his new club.

If you’ve got an eternity to spare, Check out the EFL Handbook Section 6 sub-section 8 “ Investigations and Disciplinary
Proceedings “ paragraph 93 - “Decisions”. You will see clauses 2.1 & 2.12 allow the EFL to do pretty much what they want in terms of sanctions.👍
