He should have been on at 2-1 today with 15 mins left

Does anybody know much about him? I had hoped he would have been ready to get a run to see what he is like. He is young. They must rate him at Spurs.

Absolutely shouldn't have been in the last 15 mins at 3-2 down. You're spouting hard of thinking nonsense as usual. Why would you bring on a midfielder with defensive attributes when you are a goal behind? Did either of you think this through?

Are Red Dwarf and COYOS cojoined twins?

Not sure how anyone can call for a player they’ve never seen to come on. Especially when as pointed out above he’s apparently a defensive midfielder.

What is baffling is why he’s come here to be our 4th choice CM behind even Gorman. Absolute waste of time if that’s how good a player he is.

Yep. At this point we should be bringing in players that improve the team, not the squad.

That said it wouldn't suprise me if he started to feature from next week having had a chance to settle in. If not then he was a bit of a pointless signing

He's not even been here a week yet.
Give it time, he'll get his chance although I would have preferred he would have come on instead of Gorman earlier.

Yeah, fair point, still not been here a week so there’s time.

We arguably need a proper defensive CM even more if we are sticking with 4 at the back.

Question is who does he replace? Clay? Our player of the year last season, or Wright who has scored 2 so far.

Clay has come off in the last few games, so maybe Marsh could be introduced from the bench around the hour mark, especially if like yesterday we are looking to defend a lead.

Would have loved to see the responses on here had he come on at 2-1 and the match ended the same way.

Would the game have finished the same way if he had come on?

At the moment it'd be replacing Clay. He doesn't look quite right, whether it's a niggly injury or not feeling 100% he seems to be tiring more quickly than usual and not making the same impact he did in the first game, where he was well up for it.

Wright has been our best performing CM thus far but needs someone doing the dirty work alongside him.

You answered you're own question there Gerard.
Clay is doing the work of 2 men that's why he's knackered after 75 minutes. While JW plays the stroller roll.

Considering the manner in which the goals were conceded I'd say yes. Second was just awful really from a terrible corner.

Simple - Clay off, Marsh on.
Gorman has no track record to be relied upon.

Apart from the 60 odd league 2 appearances he made at Stevenage.
Proving you wrong is as easy as shelling peas.
Getting the best out of a player apparently isn't though πŸ˜‚

If he’s of the quality that it is believed he is he should be starting every game at this level surely. We never seem to give our loan players a decent chance to show themselves. Many of our loan deals are a waste of time for that reason.

Gorman breaking his ankle he’s never been the same again.

Never thought I’d be saying this but based on performances so far - and despite the goals he’s scored - he has to replace Wright. There is no way Clay can not start games. He is absolutely ideal in the current set up, 2 holding midfielders running their arses off and keeping it simple, letting all the flair players go and do their thing.
