Team for Blackpool

After Oldham, I dont think we can give up hope on this team till the very end. Richie has worked miracles here and I think he will work more. He said TJ, Happe, Beckles, and OON will be back for Mansfield but this is a must win if we have any chance of making playoffs, which at the moment look very slim
--------------Keeley
Galbraith REG Simpson Currie
-----------Clare Brown
--------Agyei Donley Williams
---------------Kelman
Richie said having a week between games have been crucial for fitness. Clare and Agyei's minutes probably still need management considering how injury prone they are.
What are your thoughts on this game? Is it a dead rubber where we prepare for next season and maybe give Obiero and Perkins goes or is it a must win how we are going for the playoffs still - which both Currie and Richie have both emphasised lately

We still have a chance. Teams have come further back than us and slipped in, though I get that "the fanbase" has already written us off, I won't give up until it's mathematically impossible.

Let's hope the players feel the same

I'm afraid, that as you suspect, it's a dead rubber. Wish it wasn't and if we were still in the hunt I would have been there tomorrow.

Did you know that I once rode a horse on Blackpool beach in 1976 for the first and last time. Horrible it was.

The Donuts played football on the beach with some WBA fans in 1988 (iirc), before getting leathered with them in the bars/clubs.
(we weren't playing Blackpool, just staying there before Darlington away on the Monday)

It sounds like it was a better experience than the donkey ride...

Need to get out the rut regardless of if it's relevant to a playoff push or not. Full strength squad until the maths is impossible, then we experiment.

Although mathematically possible it’s too much of an ask for a group of players who have already given everything this season .i think our players have been brilliant but Injuries and suspensions have cost us.

Wouldn't play Clare, he's been dire in his recent sub appearances. Ball in midfield please

Pratley has had a week off so can’t see him not starting.

I'd go

Keeley
Clare Reg Simpson Currie
Brown Prats
Ayegi Donley Ethan
Kelman

Bomb the full-backs on, Brown tucks into a back three, just for it, we need to win every game, have plenty of talent going forward, take the handbrakes and sod it

We ain't won at Blackpool since 1929 , today would be a good time to change that statistic 🤔

Don’t think we’d get away with fielding 12 men. The standard of officiating is poor but at least one from four should be numerate.

Jayesmi over Perkins, Markanday and other is an odd choice
