Now why would he do that ?
''Conor McGregor has apologised unreservedly for punching a man in an unprovoked attack in April. The UFC star was filmed punching the 50-year-old man at a pub in Dublin after buying a round of his own whiskey for patrons. McGregor has now spoken out on the incident for the first time. ‘I was in the wrong,’ McGregor told ESPN. ‘That man deserved to enjoy his time in the pub without having it end the way it did.''

You find it strange that someone realises he acted badly and apologises to his victim?

Saying sorry is a sign of weakness?

This.... CONOR McGregor secretly met his alleged pub clash victim in a taxi just minutes after hitting him in a row over whiskey, The Sun can reveal.

Cops probing the fight at the Marble Arch boozer in Dublin last April have obtained CCTV footage of McGregor outside the pub.

McGregor is a publicity seeker, thats for sure. He's done a number of 'stunts', that have seen him arrested on fairly minor charges, but have all made the media, giving him the publicity he seeks.

He can’t ‘box’ that’s for sure.

I know people say all publicity is good publicity, but is getting deliberately nicked still in that category?

I mean, either way the guy's a weapon, but still.

More a tool than a weapon.
