Must confess that I'd forgotten all about the rolling circus that is BTFC and particularly Glenn Tamplin's twitter account which in the past has provided some comedy gold including a staged picture in Nike Dubai where GT claimed the staff there followed BTFC and him separately telling "haters" to commit suicide.
Seems that after a period of disinterest, they've signed quite a few biggish but ageing names for that level including ex Gillingham midfielder Doug Loft and Lincoln forward, Matt Rhead. So far they've lost 1 of their opening 5 - be interesting to see how this season pans out. Bookies make them joint favs with Havant to win that division and make the conference.
More pleasingly, GT's lack of self-awareness looks to continue - his cryptic announcement that he'd signed Wes Thomas brought forward a few chortles - especially as said Wes Thomas signed for Notts County a few days later....

Tamplin blocked me ages ago so I've missed out on most of this.

Has the “Tamplin’s Dream” section of the infamous muriel (sic) been updated this summer?

What did you do to upset him?

Honestly can't remember. Probably something highbrow like calling him an idiot.

They've got a Pastor section on their website. Where "trained" Christian fellows can give you salty nuggets of Tamplin gospalology.
Utter fruitcake.

I think you are being rather unfair.
This actually seems a great piece of outreach work by local churches to help those with mental health issues.
Its something we should be applauding not making pathetic jibes about

How do you step down as owner without selling?

Seems an attention seeking stunt. Bet he will be back, although he's gonna need a yes man to allow his son to get in the team.

Heh. Tamps sacks himself. Wonder if he’ll reinstate himself after getting pleas from loving fans and staff within a day or 2?
Or if all his investments and subsidies are suddenly turned into immediately repayable loans which might cripple the club...

Doesn't he do this every three months?
Can you imagine being married to or working for this fella?

Love that he lists 'the visit of Soccer AM' amongst his best memories but fails to mention their promotions.

Hmmm, where have I seen this scenario before.

Looks like he appointed Jamie O'Hara then stepped down. Very strange, but like others said he's done this previously.

Tamplin has tweeted again with his “reasoning”
Abuse for playing his son is stated as the last straw.
Apparently his Abridge gaff is on the market too. Maybe the multi-millionaire’s “steel” fortune has hit the rocks...

He has had a few business failures lately as well, a person can only take so much abuse before you think it's not worth it.

Nothing that £55 million can't fix.

He's probably going to set up a team at the Priory.
