Re: Rarmani Edmonds-Green
Very much a Ritchie signing this. Charlton fans don't seem to rate him at all and surprised we've handed him such a long contract given that Beckles is nailed on to get another contract despite the injury, but have to trust the clubs judgement.

Re: Rarmani Edmonds-Green
has decent championship experience it seems, seems like a decent signing considering Beckles is out long term

Re: Rarmani Edmonds-Green
Played and won promotion with RW at Swindon, sounds like another good signing by the club.
Ball playing CB
Happy with this and pleased we have moved fast to cover Beckles injury
Good window.

Re: Rarmani Edmonds-Green
Much needed. Beckles injury has proven that Cooper is not good enough, he was absolutely woeful on Saturday. Hopefully this lad a bit better with his feet. Be interesting to see who is now the first choice CB pairing. Simpson was playing well before his injury so be interesting to see who Richie goes with.

Re: Rarmani Edmonds-Green
Cooper looked like someone that hasn’t played a lot of football this season (as did Happe as it goes, who actually was at fault for the goal).EssexO wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 10:32 pm Much needed. Re: Rarmani Edmonds-Green
Agree neither looked great but Cooper’s strength was always known to be in the air, not sure he won more than one header on Saturday. The only one he did the ref gave the free kick that led to their goal. Makes you appreciate Beckles’s influence a hell of lot more!Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 10:34 pmCooper looked like someone that hasn’t played a lot of football this season (as did Happe as it goes, who actually was at fault for the goal).EssexO wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 10:32 pm Much needed. Re: Rarmani Edmonds-Green
Unfortunately, it looks like it . Maybe the club could try Perkins as a striker .

Re: Rarmani Edmonds-Green
Agyei and Kelman will have to see us through.
Where we are stronger now is that when one was playing up top, the other was also playing but out wide. Both were being fatigued, playing in unnatural positions and covering more ground off the ball than they otherwise would have. We at least now have options there so these two can just share the striker role. And will be supported by cameo appearances from Perkins where necessary.
We should be ok.

Re: Rarmani Edmonds-Green
After Omar's injury, it became a far more important position to cover. Perkins can play as striker as can Agyei (who is back soon). We couldn't go through the rest of the season with 3 CB's.
