It has.Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 11:53 pm What did he say? Interview on the site now has clearly been edited since.
Said we are affected by the injuries we have but then something along the lines that he wont use it as an excuse like Posticoglu at Spurs.

Ha ha ha.
It’s like us getting upset at comments made by the National League South Tonbridge Angels manager who’ve we’ve loaned Charlie Pegrum to.
They’re probably inundating TalkSport with whiny phone calls as we type.

Re: RW Apology to Spurs
Has Ange wotsit used injuries as the excuse for Tottenham being so useless this season? (Genuine question, I’ve no idea). If Ange has, what is the issue?

Re: RW Apology to Spurs
Certainly the last few weeks when they've only had 10-11 fit pros. Some say his tactics and intensity is the reason for that, also their club doctor recently left under a cloud tooHoover Attack wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2025 12:28 am Has Ange wotsit used injuries as the excuse for Tottenham being so useless this season? Re: RW Apology to Spurs
Certainly not called for but Ange has been using the injuries as an excuse. The over reaction by Spurs fans is laughable.

A bit below the belt but he’s right. Ange winges every interview without taking much responsibility. But silly considering out best player is from spurs

Re: RW Apology to Spurs
Being a spurs fan, there’s a few things here.
1: I’m not particularly annoyed by it, and in isolation there’s something funny about it
2: Postecoglu hasn’t actually used injuries as an excuse, in fact his interviews have this season mostly been him a bit exasperated about him being asked about injuries and him saying stuff about the injury situation that is factually true & not controversial
3: The only people to potentially be affected by Wellens needless gag there are Orient, as their relationship with Spurs is obviously valuable and it’s baffling that he’d risk that to make a joke
Putting spurs aside, Wellens needs to be careful because at Orient, or somewhere else if he moves up in the world, his mouth is the biggest risk to his career, there’s been a few instances of him having to retract/clarify/apologise.
I don’t know how petty Postecoglu or Spurs are, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a “well we won’t loan that **** our best young players” sentiment

Donley has been our best player maybe twice this season.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2025 8:10 am A bit below the belt but he’s right. Ange winges every interview without taking much responsibility. But silly considering out best player is from spurs
The over reaction is hilarious. They really are sensitive little souls. This is certainly going to add some spice to our Leeague games in the Championship next season.

You aren’t aware of Richie Wellens previously saying things he’s got in trouble for?

We’ve got the ones that they need help getting ready to either 1) make their squad or 2) sell for bucks to a Championship side.
The arrangement benefits both sides, let’s not pretend otherwise.

Of course it benefits both sides. It’s not a relationship you’d want to jeapoardise though

Re: RW Apology to Spurs
If one party is that sensitive, it’s not a healthy relationship and you’re better off out of it. I’m pretty sure Ange won’t give a f***, and this is just Spurs fans being all Spursy.
There are plenty of Premier League clubs who will have seen what Wellens has done for young players over the past 3 years and be only too happy to send them here for development.
