Keeley 6 - clean sheet but some fumbles and his kicking was a bit all over the place

Galbraith 7 - a guaranteed 7 or 8 performance from this lad every game. Mad to think that RB isn’t really his main position

Beckles 7 - solid.

Cooper 7 - equally solid

Currie 7.5 - I’m baffled as to why Oxford have loaned him out. Would love to sign him on a permanent if it was ever possible.

Pratley 7 - equally mad that he’s starting games every week when you think about it but he really is a presence in the middle of the park. His mastery of the dark arts is as useful as it is amusing. The highlight being early in the second half when he slid in to wipe out their number 30 then trotted off as if nothing had happened and somehow managed to escape a booking for it

Brown 6. - Fine. The bit where he did a little bit of fancy footwork to take 3 Reading players out of the game to then immediately slide a soft side foot pass straight to a 4th Reading player sums him up. Brown and Pratley could play 1000 games together and still not score a single goal between them

Abdulai 6.5 - offers an attacking presence down the wing. Looks like a sensible signing. Giving him MOTM was a bit much though

Donley 7.5 - assist for the first goal and nice cross for the second. To go from loanee duffer to first name on the team sheet is very impressive.

Markanday 7.5 - a mobile, rapid attacking threat on the wing. Just what the doctor ordered. Took his goal well. Could have had another before that if not for a good save by the GK. Can see why league 2 was too easy for him

Kelman 7.5 - the guy never stops running..and scoring. I’ve docked him .5 for picking up a stupid unnecessary booking near the end. We can’t afford to have him suspended.

Subs - all 6.5. seeing as the job was to see out the win they all contributed to that

Reading 4 - Properly naff. How are they in the top half of this league?

Cooper is a bit high, always has a mistake in him and did in the second half, could've got punished on another day

Donley 9 MOTM, never seen a player make so many key passes in 1 game. Outstanding.

Abdulai 8 not far behind Donley, playing out of position but what a debut.

Brown 7 has been a bit off the last few weeks but back at it today.

Otherwise in agreement ish with your marks.

Was impressed with Abdulai. You can tell he’s got great feet and is athletic. Be good to see him in his preferred position.

Front 4 were all great.

Reading clearly no mugs but the way we play makes them seem ordinary.

Also thought they should have had a pen first half which could have changed the game. Little things like that Keeley will learn and you have to accept when you have a young keeper

Yeah, that looked a pen to me. Thought the ref was generally awful throughout, both ways.

Isn’t the narrative when we win games that the opposition are rubbish?

Yes, Reading were ok but lacked a cutting edge. They were hardly ever a threat on our goal. Impressed with the two new signings. And i must say how well Beckles has been playing lately. Another who took my eye today was Donley. His passing is sublime. He sort of strokes the ball and with such accuracy and just the right weight. The transformation of the team of late has been quite amazing. Every player seems to be playing with confidence and freedom.

Donley apart from Kane I think will be the best player to play for Orient in the past twenty years in regards to what they will go on to do

Thought Keeley was better than 6
Made vital saves & kept yet another clean sheet.
Those who say he is only doing his job (not in here) should apply that to every other position in a team

Somebody mentioned our team playing with confidence and freedom.
Does that coincide with Richie not being on the touch line?
Will he be tempted to be down there for the City game?

Testament to how well we’re doing that he had bygget all to do shots wise, just a few crosses. But yeah, 6 a touch harsh.

Brown is the fan’s favourite - to moan at! He plays because he makes Pratley better - and visa versa. We have other players for craft; we have Brown for graft. Very few opponents get through the middle of our park and he’s a significant part of that equation.

Look at yesterdays goal - Pratley chases and turns the ball over which breaks to Brown who instantly gives it to Donley, Those two have played just as much a part in the goal as the slide rule pass from Donley and the finish from Markandy.

I thought the ref was terrible, every time there was any type of physical contact he blew the whistle. I would give him a 3, and that's generous.
