I think it was actually 3-7, last game of the season and was played in the spirit of a testimonial

My ex-missus was pregnant at the time of that Bournemouth game. I told her I’d take her to the seaside for the weekend, then when we got there sneakily announced Orient were playing. She sat there with a face like thunder as we got hammered and the weekend didn’t get any better!

I’d forgotten about that. Would definitely make my Top 5

Yeah - and it was Valentine's weekend too. I took my Mrs there for a weekend thinking I'd booked a hotel, and we rocked up there after the match only to find it was closed for renovations. I've had happier drives back to London.

1. Colchester (H) 2017. Pitch invasion, losing, conference bound and the game supposedly abandoned. Honestly thought we'd never be back.
2. MK Dons (A) 2015. 4-0 down and looking doomed. I left at H/T. Never done that before or since.

4. Hendon (H) 1998. Lucky to scrape through the first tie at 2-2, what could possibly go wrong at home? Well everything really in a 0-1 defeat and then just to cap it all, Orient go and sign their centre forward who not only looked like Mr Bean, he turned into the footballing equivalent as soon as he put an Orient shirt on. Weirdly, I still can't remember his name.......
5. Bromley (A) 2017. 1-6. George Porter inevitably scored for Bromley. From memory it pissed down as well.
