Will the game be on?

Freezing overnight temperatures. With the players having played a lot of games maybe we should call it off?

Could be a blessing in disguise, we’ve played too many Saturday games this season

Nah - we r on a roll keep the games coming. I’m sure the team players and management will be happy to play as long as the pitch conditions are ok.

And so we enter everyone’s least favourite part of the season where every single game has a “it’s being called off” rumour…

It is not our decision, it will be the Referee who decides if has to be postponed.

They'll stick the frost covers on which protects the pitch down to minus 4c.

Doubt if the club will want the game postponed as won't want to break our decent run of form.

And they won’t want to lose anymore money with a Tuesday night game

Just received a yellow warning of heavy snow and freezing rain for Saturday from noon, from the met office.

Whether it's played or not it's going to be bloody cold by all accounts. (I've seen tops at 2°)

Specifically for E10?

Tuesday game vs Saturday game - recently heard a delta of £120-150k !!

Anyway, still 48 hours away, so the 3pm forecast often turns into 6pm by the time it arrives. E10 will have very cold rain to contend with.

The map shows it covering pretty much all of England, inc E10

It’s not like the old days when they’d play in snowdrifts, hurricanes and biblical floods, health and safety gone mad, orange footballs, Bert Trautmann’s broken neck, survived the blitz etc etc etc

Well, I'll be playing golf in the morning. Course doesn't close for frost. It's amazing how high a golf ball goes when it lands from a height on frozen ground. I'll be playing a load of low "punch shots" tomorrow.
